Walking the Essex way

Oh my goodness I have been melting! It has been so uncomfortable! Temperatures reaching top notch. I was dripping non stop, but thank God it has cooled a little yesterday we had rain all day and now I can move without turning into a water feature haha!!!
Hubby is in his element he loves the heat and when I complain that am too hot he answers lovely.
We had our little darling to stay with us for a couple of days so Hubby took us to the seaside oh what a torture having to stay there and look happy, off course they loved every minute but boy, was I glad when we came home.
Today feels a little cooler I hope the rain will stay away the garden has had a good drink so now what we need now is a little sunshine not too hot mind! Just a little Haaha.
Soon will be blackberry season looking forward to making the Jam, I supply my daughter and some friends with the jams and marmalade that I make, always have a larder full of preserves jams marmalade and Chutneys. They come useful at Christmas when I parcel them as presents.

Walking the Essex way

Been up since 5am! Why I don't know, could it be that my brain is too active!
I get so annoyed that in the end I have to get up, so that hubby can get a good nights sleep without me there tossing and turning.
Yesterday I had my normal walk this time on my own, my walking buddy is away on holiday, so I went for a meander through the Lake and beyond at least I had my exercise did a two hour walk of course in those two hours I had little stops so that I could take one or two photos.
Then came home feeling a little out of breath but also feeling quite energized, nothing like a good walk in the morning to set you up for the day.

Walking the Essex way

Am still still walking the Essex way.
Yesterday Hubby and I went for a walk along the Hanningfield reservoir, it was a lovely hot day.
We had a look at various hides but the wild life was quite sparse!
It would be a good place to spend the day perhaps take a picnic with us next time, the wooded areas and footpaths very easy to walk even for someone with a wheelchair.....
