Good morning My World!
Yes am awake and have been for quite some time, so after tossing and turning decided that I had enough so here I am with my cup of coffee talking to you.
Today I won't be walking! Later on we will be saying goodbye to a dear friend may he rest in peace.
Take care.
A raindrop landing on your cheek
is a kiss from someone
that lives in heaven.
Be grateful for what you had
not for what you have lost....

Walking the Essex way

Good morning my world!
Another day looming I wonder wet or dry?
Am ready for my walk am hopping that it'll stay dry I need to stretch my legs, my back is a little taught and am sure a walk will do me the world of good,

Take care my friends

Walking the Essex way

Good morning my World!
Now we are entering Autumn the day's are getting shorter and temperature wise still quite mild, but one can already see the signs, the leaves on the trees and hedges are slowly changing getting ready for the Autumnal drop. Walking through the countryside with a kaleidoscope of amazing colors greeting you as you walk along the footpaths and the woods, crunching the leaves underfoot with the chorus of birds singing simply magic!
Walking through our footpaths through the year one can see and experience the seasons as it unfurls. My friend Paula and I have seen the changes happening around our village since we started walking over twenty years ago.
We have lost a couple of footpaths due to house building and the gravel extraction but we still manage to find enough ground to take our foot steps and are lucky enough to have a glimpse now and again of our wild life.
After a quiet weekend am ready now for another walk. just waiting for daylight..
Take great care my friends and go out there and enjoy life.

Walking the Essex way

Good day! I have been good and still doing my walking albeit on my own, my friend Paula went and got herself a massive blister.
I hope she gets better soon its not much fun walking on my own, although I am doing so, and was able to get some pretty good pics! And I was lucky to film a roe deer and today saw a few hare's filmed them too.
The sunrise at the lakes was amazing and the swans still there... From there I walked to the woods our friendly dogs met up with me and I picked a stick to trow for them to fetch, had a chat with the dogs owner and carried on to the woods where I started looking for fungi as I walked on I did find beefsteak fungi attached to an old tree trunk.
Arrived home feeling quite energized.

Friday, 6 September 2019

Good day my World family and friends.
Woke up with achy joints I feel that I need a long walk but the incentive to do so is my friend Paula, she has gone and got a massive blister on her heel.
We have been walking the footpaths of Essex way through all weathers, we have seen the changes of the seasons,
We have walked through muddy fields with our boots heavy with the mud that we collect along the way, walked through brambles always with Paula in front beating a path and snipping the encroaching brambles so that the next walk we wont get scratched. Our walks even though we walk quite often the same routs but always feels somewhat new. The countryside is always changing, the hedges are either in flower or covered in berries....When we spot a deer or Muntjack we get so excited and the hare's running and chasing each other and taking off as they spot us..... I think my favorite season is Autumn am looking forward to the array of colors that is Autumn.....

Walking the Essex way

Good morning my World!
Looks like we are not walking this morning my friend Paula just informed me that it is raining.
I got up at 4.30am and did not look out so did not know that we had the wet stuff.
The garden needs it so it is a bonus I don't need to go water my thirsty garden, but not so good for the workmen, hope that it's not going to hinder the construction!
We have been waiting for the build for far too long I think two years is a long time, and the last 8 months has been very confusing lol, we thought an alteration to the plans had been put through but on checking at the council nothing had go through!
So now we find ourselves that if we want it built sooner rather than later we have to go with the original plans!
We have found a builder lucky for us he lives two doors down from us! himself had an extencion built, and thank god he sorted it all out for us with the council!!!!! Now am looking forward to more spacious living and to have my garden back again.

Walking the Essex way

I know most of you are in bed and most probably asleep, I must have enough sleep because I feel wide awake but come evening I wont be able to keep my eyes open LOL.
Today I'll be keeping my little darling company I know It'll be a busy day she's always on the move going to the park and playing in the garden!
Oh my! I just remembered she won't be able to play in the garden today we have the builders in! She's not going to be a happy bunny she likes to water my plants Oh well looks like we are visiting Tita Elsa she can water her plants.

Walking the Essex way

Another glorious day awaits us, had my walk this morning and at same time picked blackberries from Gods larder, there is still plenty out there.
Came home feeling energized but as soon I arrive home and look at my garden my heart sinks! I know that I had to move my plants for the build but it does not stop me from being sad looking at it, but needs must I suppose and soon it'll be back to the way it was.
Well my friends I do hope you all have a great Sunday with your loved ones.
